I sit down to write this, because I’m told I need to have this section on my blog, but I think this is the first time I’ve ever had writer’s block. This doesn’t flow at all so I would recommend reading my blog posts to find out about me rather than reading this.
Who am I…?
I’m the oldest of 11 children. I was born in California and raised in Utah where I grew up helping run the family motel, and Missouri where we lived on a farm without electricity and tried to live off the land.
I’ve also lived in Virginia where I worked as a Nanny and as a personal assistant for a Non-Profit, Alaska where my Husband was stationed for work and I was a SAHM advocating for special needs families, and currently, reside in Washington State where I’ve picked up blogging and freelance writing.
I’ve visited most of the states in the U.S. and love to experience new cultures, areas of countries and people.
I’m married to a man who is in the National Guard and has served several overseas tours. For his day job, he works in Law Enforcement. We have 2 children, one boy, and one girl. Our son experiences Autism and multiple other issues.
When I think about myself, I consider myself a musician, fiber artist, writer, mother, sister, and wife. I am a Christian, which is a huge part of my identity.
Why am I writing this blog?
The easy answer is to send you to my former blog post about why I am blogging.
I focus for the most part on Special Needs, Parenting, and then a little bit of the thoughts and questions I have about life with a religious perspective.
Thank you for taking the time to hang out with me on my blog and reading my thoughts, sharing them with your friends, liking and commenting on my thoughts. While I would still be writing even if no one was reading, it makes this experience even better getting to share my journey with you.
